I was so close to uninstalling it and leaving a negative review, but I was too lazy, so I let it run. About a month later, I began to recognize patterns, that when I did X with my mouse, it always did Z. Once I began to recognize the patterns, I paid closer attention. Soon I learned I could change the volume with my mouse when the cursor was on the right side of the screen. Cool!
Then I learned the right side of the screen was further broken into 3 parts, the lower part changed volume in 1% increments, the middle right changed volume by 5% increments, and the upper right changed volume in 10% increments. Once I learned that, I loved it.
Then I learned, the mouse wheel on the left side of the screen, would speed up or slow down the video speed. I loved that. Then I learned the left side of the screen was also broken into 3 parts, lower, middle and upper, and depending where the cursor was, the rate of video play changed in 1%, 50%, or 100%. Wow, I fell in love. Then I started to go into settings and peaking around and figured out it will do lots of other stuff I loved.
Now I subscribed as a patreon and give $1 a month. But now I’ve been using it for a year straight and see its value to me.
But my first month, I hated it. I just did things haphazardly and I thought it was all screwed up. But now I know I just didn’t know how to use it and set it up to make it do what I want it to do.
I think the only problem with this YouTube tweak, is that when you install it, it does not take you to a video to show you what it can do, and how to change things.
Its only problem is, that for a newcomer, it leaves you in the dark wondering what the hell is going on. And that’s where the negative reviews come from.
Whoever invented this, thank you. Chris

Bin begeistert!!!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Lernos, 24 days agoEven with all the options labeled as "Might trigger YouTube's adblock warning" disabled, still makes YouTube videos buffer and cynically ask "Experiencing interruptions?" despite me having uBlock Origin on. Disabling Tweaks For YouTube fixes it. I can no longer use YouTube with this addon installed, hoping the devs will find a way around it, since I love the functionality otherwise.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Chantelle, a month agoIncredible amount of options. It needs a search function because it can be tricky to navigate and find what you may need. Also search tweaks would be nice, getting rid of clutter like the "Explore more" and "People also watched" annoyance for people like me that find that annoying.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Bobby, a month agoPossibly the most well-done YouTube tweaks extension on the planet.
- Rated 5 out of 5by ziga11, a month agoAs someone who has tried making extensions for youtube. Dealing with all the dynamic loading, exquisitely made.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Abzyah, a month agoi think it's the best add-on for youtube for me (aside from ublock ofc). There is a LOT of options although i wish they were better categorized. It's a bit of a pain when you need to change one setting and you pretty much have to search manually through most of them (in other words category names are bad). Maybe add a search button or get list of changed options. Great addon nonetheless.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14544178, 2 months agoAmazing set of features that isn't matched by any of the other YouTube suites.

- Rated 5 out of 5by wojtulace, 2 months agoUnbelievable. The author has dissected YouTube.
The number of features is staggering. There is something for everyone—too much to list in this comment; you have to try it yourself.
Amazingly, every option is explained via tooltips, so you know what to expect. The UI has a clean and elegant style, something that browser addons often fail to achieve. After finalizing your settings, you can export them and easily apply them to any device and browser.
I was using YouTube Enhancer before, which had a fraction of the settings that this extension offers, and some of them didn't even work!
Frankly, the former looks like a joke when put next to this one.
These should be the official YouTube settings, and the author should be employed by Google, collecting big paychecks. This addon simply feels like a part of YouTube. - Rated 5 out of 5by Jason, 2 months agoThis absolutely smashes unhook. I found it searching for "make thumbnails smaller" but the more I tinker with it the more features I find that I didn't know I wanted. Even the UI and tooltips are first class.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Fatih, 2 months agoWorking as expected but too complicated for me. Still use this instead of Enhancer for Youtube on Firefox.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13101257, 2 months agoMany settings do not work now (worked week ago) - example - dimming watched videos on sidebar, full video titles on sidebar

- Rated 4 out of 5by Jupee, 3 months agoThis is amazing. Would give 5 stars, just need ability to resize Default player view, I want to make it smaller.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Jan, 3 months agoFANTASTIC PROGRAM. Seriously. I only got it to -ensure- that subtitles stay in the dang lower bottom where they BELONG.
But the quick controls using the mouse (I have enabled in full-screen), as well as the ability to alter the time it takes for the controls to disappear, and having them not appear with any mouse movement but when you actually point in those regions.. it is fantastic. It makes youtube browsing a blast! - Rated 5 out of 5by Wiz Skywalker, 3 months ago
