I should have been using it earlier.Developer response
posted 10 months agoGlad it's been helping you stay organized! Thanks for the review! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17515536, 10 months agoSo, you're telling me I can have a beautiful, sleek UX/UI like OneTab, SessionBuddy, or Taby...
I get seamless syncing, just like TabSessionManager, but without needing a Google account or reconfiguring every new device.
And all my tabs are saved as bookmarks, so I never have to worry about losing them and can use Firefox Sync to access them anywhere?
Where has this extension been all my life? I swear, I wish I’d found it sooner!Developer response
posted 10 months agoSometimes you really CAN have it all. ;D In any case, I'm glad you found it now, and thanks for the review! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15016633, 10 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Daniel, a year agoI love how simple and practical it is. The fact that the tabs are synced to others computers is a game changer and makes me a lot more productive!

posted a year agoI'm really glad to hear you're enjoying it! Thanks for the review! And yeah, I agree with you on sync—when I first started building Tab Stash, I was really surprised that no other tab-manager add-on at that time had even tried to implement sync or use bookmarks. That's part of what prompted me to build it in the first place! - Rated 3 out of 5by Atma, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Vladimir T, a year agoInstalled a couple of hours ago. So far I like everything. But I haven't figured out yet whether I can sort tabs in groups alphabetically?
Developer response
posted a year agoYou can't sort within a group yet, but it's an often-requested feature. Can't make any promises, but I'm definitely keeping it in mind for a future release. Thanks for the review, I'm glad you're liking everything so far! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14444268, a year ago

Starred on GitHub ⭐ (which, funnily enough, has more stars than on here..!)Developer response
posted a year agoThanks, I'm really glad to hear you're finding it helpful!
And that IS funny, I hadn't noticed GitHub has more stars until you mentioned it just now. Thanks also for the star! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18612813, a year ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Encore, a year agoMy only problem is that the Tab Stash allows you to save duplicates.
Developer response
posted a year agoTab Stash does allow duplicates, yes. It used to remove them, but in my experience, this caused some pretty surprising behavior that people were unhappy with (sometimes creating duplicates is intentional), so I haven't found a good way to bring this functionality back yet. Thanks for the comment though! - Rated 5 out of 5by Tinker, a year ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Sashi, a year agoIt's very cool but need 2 options to be perfect:
- Choice to Lock a stash, because we can delete a stash or a tab by mistake. Or just because I open a stash who is a child, I don't want it to be remove from the child group.
- In the sidebard, the color background is always white or black unlike some other addon sidebar who take the color of our setting (Orange background for exemple). I need to choose the background color and the font color please.
BUG: The option(setting) page is refreshing infinitly, I don't know why?
It's just a positive feedback because I REALLY love your Addon! Hope you take it well, really an amazing great work :)Developer response
posted a year agoHi, thanks for the review! I'm happy to hear you like it and I appreciate the feedback!
Feel free to poke me on GitHub especially about the problem with the options page refreshing infinitely. I haven't been able to see that on my system and if you can share any more details about why it's happening, I'd like to see if I can fix it. (You can also see feature requests / request new features there.)
You can find the link to GitHub under the "Developer Comments" section of the add-on page (below the description). Sorry I can't link to it directly, Mozilla won't let me post links here anymore for some reason. - Rated 5 out of 5by dpi0, a year agoliterally the best extension on any browser to manage tabs. best thing, SYNCED WITH BOOKMARKS!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Nimja, a year agoHi Josh, I wanted to reach out to you about TS, this is the only way I could find.
I am looking for a 'tab organising' addon to hold multiple tabs, of differing subjects, in their own groups (just like you show in your first three images), and offering an easy backup.
I have been using STG, and was attracted to TS, as from your images I love the interface, and thought I might prefer TS.
After installing, I found TS too unintuitive, I couldn't figure out how to get from the pop-up, to the group interface as in your first three images. Reeading your usage guidance, I have most of it figured out, but when I attempted to import my URLs from STG, TS isn't able to read the .json file.
Then I had a go at exporting my TS tabs, but all I get is an Export page that doesn't seem to do anything (format, Select All, Copy) but it doesn't do anything??
Anyhow, please accept this positive feedback, I'm sure you put a lot into this addon as it looks fabulous and I believe it has a lot of options, I just found it a bit too unintuitive to use it. TYVM!Developer response
posted a year agoThanks for the note! You're always welcome to open an issue on GitHub for help or feedback (links at the bottom of the addon listing). That said, Import and Export work via copy/paste. Export shows you your stash in different forms which you can copy/paste into some other form. Import allows you to paste in any text containing URLs, and Tab Stash will try to find and load the links contained in whatever you paste.
As a pro tip, Import can split your items into different groups if you put blank lines between them. It can also parse out group names from Markdown (so using a Markdown format works best).
If Tab Stash's Import feature isn't sufficient, you can also import directly into your bookmarks using some other method (e.g. another extension) and then move those bookmarks into your stash using the built-in bookmark editor.
Hope this helps! - Rated 3 out of 5by Helmanfrow, a year agoThis is fundamentally a reskin of the bookmark sidebar. This is fine, and it is functional, but it doesn't solve my main issues:
1. No way to open a tab directly to a new window; only to the current window
2. No way to click on a folder and open all of its tabs to a new window.
3. No way to quickly restore a complete *browser session* of multiple windows and their respective tabs.Developer response
posted a year agoYou're right that Tab Stash is not, and does not try to be, a session manager—there are other add-ons out there for that purpose. Tab Stash wants you to be intentional about what you save, because in my experience, that keeps things much more organized vs. tab groups, session managers, etc. Thanks for giving it a try though!
