About this extension
SwipeMarks turns quick gestures into simple bookmark actions so you can keep moving without hunting menus. Tap the toolbar button to start swipe mode, then use left, right, up, or down anywhere on the page. By default, a right swipe saves the current page to a “SwipeMarks” folder, a left swipe saves it to a “Reading List,” and vertical swipes open compact overlays showing your recent items. You can change each direction in the popup and rename the folders in Options. Everything runs locally: the extension creates or reuses two folders under Bookmarks and adds links there when you save. No site-wide permissions are requested. The script is injected only when you start swipe mode, and it uses safe DOM APIs with no inline code. It’s a fast, thumb-friendly way to collect links while browsing on the go.
